Event Description

It's almost time for Training Day again! This is a day of peer-to-peer learning of skills and sharing knowledge like crafting, fighting, cooking, and plot developments.

Auction and Bake Sale

Two fundraisers to support the Pushee family will be held at this event.

The first is a bake sale held by the Order of the Spoon. Please contact Sarah Fournier (evie1111 on Discord, or sarahjeanfournier@gmail.com) if you are an Order of the Spoon member who would like to contribute to the bake sale. Sarah will be communicating with Order of the Spoon members soon as well.

There will also be a Silent Auction at Training Day. Please contact John Rescigno (mdhttr on Discord, or jjrescigno@gmail.com) if you would like to contribute an item to the auction. Event certificates, commission certificates, magic items, and other items are all welcome.

Both the Silent Auction and Bake Sale will be accepting cash, PayPal, and Venmo.

All proceeds from this fundraiser and auction, along with a donation from the Paladins Fund, will be directed towards the gift card initiative organized by Kelly Bonci. For more information about the gift card initiative, please contact her directly.

Thank you all for your generosity and support. Let’s continue to keep Janna’s light shining brightly.

Teaching a Class

If you are interested in teaching a class, please fill out this Google form. Any Realms-related class is acceptable. For example: history, skills, crafting, plots, magic, etc. If you would like to teach multiple classes, please fill out one form for each class. If you would like to teach this class with someone else, please fill in all Teacher Names. Teachers will also have the opportunity to take classes in blocks that they are not teaching.

Have a class you'd like to see or attend, but don't have the skillset to teach it? Want to teach a class but don't have an idea for the topic? This year we have options to propose a class without being a teacher, and to sign up to teach classes that don’t currently have an instructor! Please check out this class suggestions list, and if you find one that strikes your fancy, please fill out the form linked above to indicate your intent to teach.

The deadline for submitting class suggestions (spreadsheet) is February 22nd, 2025.
The deadline for submitting all class proposals (Google form) is March 1st, 2025.

Student Sign-Up Schedule

A few days after the class proposal deadline has passed, we will be releasing a Student Interest Form to determine which classes students are most interested in attending. We expect this form to be open until March 16.

After this we will complete a course schedule based on student interest and teacher availability, which will be available before the event begins.

Food

Six courses of finger food/light food will be going around to classrooms during this event, with first service beginning at 12:30 pm.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Kelly/Fern or Brooke/Rowan via email or Discord (Discord preferred).

We hope to see you here!

Rules Changes and Notes

Other rule changes may be in effect. Each classroom may have its own rules. The teacher is the marshal for their own class.
