Invictus Tournaments

Greetings everyone!

Invictus would like to invite you out for a weekend of relaxation and tournaments! Because who doesn’t find a weekend of stabbing your friends to be a fun relaxing time?

But first, Friday night we have a request from Sir Aelias about, something going on at the southern border near Ariland. While we’re busy helping prepare for the festivities on Saturday we’d ask you all to help with his request.

“There is a… demon who wishes to speak with some heroes. It apparently has an offer for them. If you wish to parlay with it, show up at the appointed place on Friday evening before the tournaments of Invictus. Who knows? Maybe it could be beneficial, or you could at least get an inking of its plans….”

As for Saturday, don’t expect a weekend of stuffing as many fights as we can in. We will still have two full days of tournaments, but the focus will be a bit more laid back than we usually run. We all have a lot of big campaigns coming up in the next few weeks after a full summer, and we know much of the Realms will be occupied with various celebrations and events these days. We hoped to throw a fun, lower key weekend for those who would like to come out and challenge themselves in some fights.

Saturday night we would invite you to join us around the fire to where we will be to 'Zarine's Nighttime Extravaganza!'. An epic adventure through new and exciting non-com competitions! Test your wit, knowledge, and charisma against your friends. More details to come soon. For those who are not joining in on that excitement you’re welcome to bring your favorite libation to enjoy around the fire, relax and recap the fun fights we had throughout the day. If your drink of choice is of the adult sort, please enjoy responsibly. We in Invictus often enjoy an easier evening around a fire with friends, sometimes over the hustle of chasing down the nearest enemy. Bring your cheer and best story of old and enjoy an evening in each other’s company.

There will also be a small League of Extraordinary Gentlefolks meeting happening Saturday night. If you don’t know what this is, keep an eye on the view coming soon!

Sunday we will kick back off with more tournaments before wrapping up with awards early afternoon.

Hello everyone! We were saddened by the cancellation of one of our favorite events of the year, Tournaments of Chaos from staffing issues. We originally offered to help staff for Ken but he encouraged us to take it and throw our own. We are aware that there’s a good number of major events happening to many wonderful people in our community this weekend. We wish all of those folks well and hope they have a fantastic time and everything goes perfectly for them. We don’t want anyone to feel bad about missing this for something else this weekend. We know there’s a lot going on and understood that when we planned for this. This is being run as something for those not attending. It was also our desire to keep the event low key because of this. We understand that FOMO is an issue in the community, because we all want to have fun and stay up to date on everything. So, we wanted to be transparent in advance that nothing groundbreaking or huge will be happening at the event. The tournaments will be many of the traditional ones with a few of the more fun ones that don’t happen too often, if you were at the coronation last year you might’ve fought in some. Friday night’s plot is something new and just a teaser for something coming later, not a part of the IQ plotline that’ll be featured in the fall. Those of you who want a weekend of fun questing and tourneys without a ton on the line, please come out.

There may be some rule changes for specific tournaments, but these would be announced at the beginning of each event.
