Event Description

We would like to formally invite the heroes of the Realms to Goldenhall in Ashenmark for another Ashen Bounty celebration. This year, without threats abound, we have time to relax and enjoy the company of one another in the fall weather. Join us for tounaments, questing, and a great deal of delicious food.

Highlord Temorse Sorrowind

Tournaments

There will be a variety of tournaments taking place during the day on Saturday in honor of the Paladin's Call charity auction. Prizes will be in form of vouchers that can be spent as cash in the cash auction (paid for by staff donations). See Shader for any questions regarding this.

Labrynth

The labrynth beneath the Stoneheart contains innumerable treasures. Form a band to travel beneath deeper into the labrynth for greater prizes, but be wary, you may not be the only band seeking the limited treasures there. The first group to complete the labrynth will recieve a speacial prizes from Highlord Temorse. See Temorse for any questions.

Kids Quest

There will be a kids quest run (roughly from 2:30-3:30) for our younger adventurers. For more details contact Grindin.

Auctions

There will be two auctions, a gold auction, hosted by Ashenmark, as well as a silent cash auction for the Paladin's Call charity. See Temorse for questions on the gold auction or Twenaria for questions on the cash auction.

Food Critic Competition

Our chefs have cooked up some...interesting dishes made from monsters from the darkests depths of the deepests dungeons, and we are looking for some skilled reviewers. Anyone may enter and try any of the appetizers, writing a review for as many as they like. The best review for each appetizer will win a gold prize and they will present their review with the monsterous appetizers being server to the general public.

Sunday Questing

A new threat becomes clear. What will the future hold?

Early Arrivals

For those of you who arrive on Friday, we'll be serving light refreshments and fine drinks to share around the fire. The Saurabian Casino will be running Blackjack and Saurian Sprint, and they encourage you to bring your tree fiddies for a new side bet!

Court

Ashenmark court will be held for the first time in several years during the dinner break. See Raynor for questions or for time during court.

Rules Changes and Notes

A New Format

This year will start a new tradition at Ashen Bounty. With the fall questing season being so busy, we have decided to move the focus of Ashen Bounty from questing back to the feast. In its earliest incarnation Ashen Bounty was a blend of both, however as the years went on we started to focus more on the questing as our resources to do both didn't grow with the events attendence. However, that does not mean that there will be absence of questing entirely. The following is the, tentative, schedule of events for the weekend.

Friday

  • Food, mocktails, gambling, board games, camp fire (7-12)

Saturday

  • Feasting (12-8)
  • Paladins Call Tournaments (1:2:30, 3:30-5)
  • Kids Quest (2:30-3:30)
  • Labrynth (1-5)
  • Food Critic Entry Period (1-4:30)
  • Food Critic Presentation & Monstrous Appetizers (5:00)
  • Gold Auction (5:15-5:45)
  • Main Course Server (6:00)
  • Court 6:15-7:00)
  • Dessert (8:00)
  • Paladin's Call Auction Ends (10:00).

Sunday

  • Questing (11-3:30)

Rules Changes

  • Gold is not stealable at this event.
Other Notes

This is a dry site

There are several cabins on site, we ask that players try to stick
to the cabins marked for players. Cabins are
first come first serve, but there should be plenty of bunks on
site.
